Lemon vodka mouthwash
This is a home-made, refreshing mouthwash recipe that you can use as an alternative to commercially-bought ones. Tincture of myrrh is a highly-beneficial product in dental recipes for its anti-microbial properties. It acts as a mild preservative and is very effective in fighting mouth and gum infections.

Ingredients
1-1/4 cup distilled water
3/4 cup vodka
30 drops bergamot eo (can substitute with peppermint if you prefer its taste)
20 drops lemon eo
1/2 tsp tincture of myrrh (optional)

Instructions
Add the essential oils in with the vodka in a bottle. Shake well and leave to ‘marinate’ for a week, shaking it twice daily. When ready to use, mix one part vodka mixture to 3 parts water and gargle. Do not drink!
